There have always been rumors about the British royal family, and even before the former prince Andrew was arrested for suspicion of misconduct in public office, one of the rumors about him was that no one really liked him. Perhaps that had to do with his Epstein ties or his personality, but for many years, there have been reports that he didn’t really get along with anyone in his family.
And part of it has, reportedly, always had to do with the way he talks.

Tina Brown’s book The Palace Papers details a particular conversation between Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. According to Brown, Ferguson was chatting with a business associate during a meeting at Royal Lodge. Andrew then allegedly walked into the room and said, “What are you doing with this fat cow?”
Brown’s source also shared that Ferguson seemed “afraid” of Andrew, and that the business associate was left “stunned.”
However, she made it clear that both Andrew and Fergie were getting something out of their curious arrangement to live together even after their divorce. “Whatever the undertow of their curious arrangement, the deal seems to be that he bails her out when she’s in trouble,” the author wrote. “[And] she backs him up when he’s assailed by scandal.”
This arrangement held true for many years, but is seemingly broken now after both were evicted from Royal Lodge and went their separate ways. Fergie hasn’t been seen in public in months, while Andrew was arrested and is currently under investigation.
It’s not the first time someone has suggested that the former prince has run his mouth against a member of the royal family. In fact, reports have long indicated that the reason William doesn’t get along with his uncle is because of something Andrew said about Kate Middleton.
Andrew Lownie’s bombshell book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York reveals alleged “rude” and “unkind” comments the former royal made against Middleton that left Prince William “furious.”
“I can’t see how anyone could make unkind comments about Kate when she’s been the family’s saving grace,” Lownie told Radar Online. “It surprised me, but people do get jealous,” he added. “I’d have thought Prince Andrew would respect William as future king, though,” rather than being “nasty about his wife.”
The author even suggested that William had issues with his uncle even before that, but that the disrespect for Kate was his breaking point. And Lownie goes even further and adds that William’s feelings about Sarah Ferguson are also not very warm, despite the fact that Ferguson has been a staple of the family since William was young, even after divorcing Andrew.
“[William] also loathes Sarah, Andrew’s ex-wife, and can’t wait for the day when his father throws them both out. If Charles doesn’t, I guarantee you the first thing William does when he eventually becomes king is to get them evicted,” a source told Lownie before the two were evicted from Royal Lodge.
