If you’ve got the money Taylor Swift has, you can afford to do some pretty wild stuff to make sure no one knows where and when your wedding will be. And that’s reportedly what’s happening with the upcoming nuptials between Swift and fiancé Travis Kelce, as leaks regarding the location and the date have allegedly made Swift alter her plans.
According to Rob Shuter’s sources, “There’s a date — but no venue,” with an insider saying, “And that’s completely intentional.”

The latest reports had indicated New York would be the place, after initial reports about Rhode Island. But that apparently isn’t set in stone either. “The truth is, no one knows exactly where it will be yet,” the source added. “Not even the guests.”
Why? “They want total control — and total privacy,” the insider explained. “Details won’t be shared, until the very last minute.”
For now, reports indicate the wedding will take place before the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp in late July. The latest reported date was July 3, though June 13 was also mentioned. Kansas City’s training camp begins at the end of July, so both are possibilities that would allow the couple to even take a few weeks for a honeymoon.
RadarOnline had previously reported that the Save the Date cards had already been sent. The same outlet reported the wedding would take place in New York City, which now seems to be in flux. But perhaps the rest of the details remain true? RadarOnline said that the venue was changed because Swift and Kelce wanted to go “all out” and do it at a venue that could accommodate more people.
Swift herself had joked during her press tour for The Life of a Showgirl that her wedding would be anything but small. She told Graham Norton that the wedding would be “huge” and said she was “so excited about it” because “the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount.”
The singer also added that having a small wedding meant you “have to evaluate or assess your relationship” with everyone as you’re putting together the guest list. “I’m not gonna do that,” Swift added, before joking: “Anyone I’ve ever talked to (is getting an invitation).”
“It will take place someplace indoors,” one insider told The Daily Mail about the ceremony. “Taylor doesn’t want it to be like Selena’s wedding.” Gomez, who is a close friend of Swift’s, married Benny Blanco in a ceremony held outdoors at the Sea Crest Nursery in Santa Barbara, California.
The “whole thing will be recorded,” a source also told RadarOnline, indicating that fans might end up getting to see some of it at some point.
So far, we’ve gotten at least two different dates and venues, so basically, at this point, it’s fair to say that we don’t really know much about when and where Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will get married. But we’ll all be ready to consume every publicly available detail of the ceremony once it does happen.
