Harry Styles Reportedly ‘Really Wants a Baby’ as Sources Claim He Would’ve Had a Kid Whether He Was with Zoë Kravitz or Not
A wedding and a baby? That might not be the expectation people have for Harry Styles, particularly after the pop star just recently got engaged to actress Zoë Kravitz. But time catches up with everyone, and at some point, it’s normal to want a family. Has Styles reached that point in his life?
The answer seems to be yes. According to Page Six, the couple is expected to have a baby sooner rather than later. In fact, the outlet is reporting that even before they got engaged, Styles was eager to have a baby, even if he had to do it on his own.

Now, he won’t have to do that alone. “He really wants a baby,” a source told the outlet in January. “He’s been telling his friends that.”
It all reportedly started when his sister, Gemma, had a daughter in 2024. The idea reportedly took hold then. Styles even told The Times of London that he took time off from performing around the time his sister gave birth, and it changed his outlook on life.
“My sister had a baby, and at any other time in my life, I would have missed a lot of that,” he said. “To be there, to get to know my niece as she’s growing up, it’s so obvious to me what’s real. It was really obvious that was where I wanted to be.”
Styles and Kravitz got engaged last week, after dating for eight months.
“He is completely smitten,” an insider told the publication. “He would jump off a cliff for her.” Sources also added that, “No one in their circle is surprised.”
The two were first seen together in August 2025, when they walked around Rome hand in hand. Things reportedly moved fast for the couple, with a source telling Page Six in September, “I feel like they’ve gone from zero to 60.”
Styles recently told Zane Lowe and Apple Music in March 2026 that he was ready to settle down. “I want to be fulfilled and I want to be in great relationships with people. I want to have great friendships with people,” he said. “I want a family. I want these things. It just allowed me to go like, okay, what do I have to do to create space to allow these things to happen? I can’t just expect them to just happen to me.”
He also spoke about finding the right person. “They hold you accountable to the person that they know you want to be. I think accepting flaws and stuff is like, yes, having understanding is wonderful, but you know that I want to be better than that. So when you challenge me on something. It’s a gift to me, actually.”
The singer has always been very private, so whatever his plans are, we probably won’t get a confirmation from him. Baby or not. “I’ve never talked about my life away from work publicly and found that it’s benefited me positively,” he told Rolling Stone in 2022. “There’s always going to be a version of a narrative, and I think I just decided I wasn’t going to spend the time trying to correct it or redirect it in some way.”
